Hotel Tupac Yupanqui was conditioned into a former colonial Solar or colonial mansion called "Pucamarca" in its foundation there are still walls that were part of the Palace of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui, son of Pachacuti Inca. Later this building belonged to the Hidalgo Conquistador Don Pedro de Barco ruler of the Cabildo of Cuzco.
