Located in the Tambopata National Reserve, Sandoval Lake Lodge is located on the banks of Lake Sandoval, considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the Peruvian Amazon, no other lodge in Tambopata-Madidi is located next to a lake. This privileged location allows the visitor to go to the lake early in the morning or late afternoon, perfect time to spot wildlife, this time wildlife is most active. The Sandoval Lake Lodge has 25 double rooms equipped with private bathrooms, hot water showers, fans and electricity. Additionally Sandoval Lake Lodge has been built on wood that has fallen into the river due to natural river erosion, so the lodge never cut any trees for its construction.
